Supported within the scope of TUBITAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Programme and our faculty member of the Department of Midwifery, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Gülüzar SADE, Faculty Member of Midwifery Department, "Taking Part in the Solution of a Global Urgent Health Problem: FGM/C Training for Midwifery Students" was held online with the contributions of Tarsus University on 1-3 May 2025. In the event, 19 academics from 9 different universities in Turkey conducted the trainings and students from different universities in Turkey participated. During the event, students gained awareness about female genital mutilation (FGM/C).
