Tarsus University Faculty of Health Sciences Academic Board Meeting Held

The Academic Board Meeting of Tarsus University Faculty of Health Sciences was held under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, with the participation of our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Tuğba Yolcu.

During the meeting, the heads of the departments within our Faculty presented the scientific, social, and community contribution activities carried out by their departments in 2025. In addition, the current status of academic and administrative processes, particularly education and training activities, as well as the challenges encountered and proposed solutions, were discussed comprehensively.

Our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Duygu Sönmez Düzkaya, shared evaluations regarding the academic studies, student-oriented activities, community contribution initiatives, and quality processes carried out by our Faculty throughout 2025. Our Dean thanked all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the development of the Faculty and stated that efforts would continue in the new term with a strong sense of cooperation, productivity, and institutional belonging.

In his speech, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, emphasized that the Faculty of Health Sciences makes significant contributions to our University in the fields of education, research and development, and community engagement. Highlighting the importance of academic productivity, student success, and interdisciplinary collaborations, our Rector stated that the University follows the Faculty’s ongoing activities with appreciation and extended his best wishes for continued success in the upcoming period.

The meeting concluded with mutual evaluations and good wishes, with the hope that it would contribute to the academic development, institutional functioning, and quality-oriented efforts of our Faculty.
