As part of Breastfeeding Week (October 1–7), the Midwifery Department of our faculty and the Tarsus District Health Directorate jointly organized an event titled "The Importance of Breastfeeding and Breastfeeding Education" on October 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

The event provided informative training on the benefits of breastfeeding and emphasized the effects of breastfeeding on the health of both mothers and babies.

We would like to thank speakers Dr. Sema Çelik, Midwife Derya Bilgiç, and Midwife Fatma Bozkurt, as well as Dr. Tuğce Sönmez and Res. Asst. Zeynep Seyyide Kaya, who contributed to the planning and execution of the event.
